Brush Work podcast is currently taking applications for:

  • Brush Work is a podcast that supports artists in developing technical skills, art theory, and sustainable creativity. I’m looking for fine artists to interview that have a story that could help other creatives thrive.

Stories of empowerment, sensitivity, practicality in creation, or a hunger for mastering their art are highly encouraged.

Before you apply, please consider the story the interviewee might be able to tell. Was there a transformative experience? Are they a master of their trade? Are they finding a unique road in the business of selling art? Are they exceptional at branding/content creation/marketing? Etc. Sky’s the limit!

Please state if you are self nominating or if you are nominating someone else.

Submit a short description of why your/their story would be a great fit for the podcast. Consider how this story would benefit other artists in this description. Include any social links you think I should see.

  • I love taking classes and I love reviewing them. If there is a course (online or in person) that you’d like to see reviewed please submit it!

    I am looking for:

    *Painting/drawing/illustration type classes

*Anything surrounding marketing, selling art, art business, branding, or similar

*Mindset/habit training, creative sustainability (think The Artist’s Way)

    *Residency/workshop reviews

    *Atelier reviews

Please state if you are the creator of this class/course, or if you have taken it yourself as a student. Not sure if your suggested class fits? Submit it anyways.

  • State the title & author of the book and why you think it would be a good read. If you are the author please let me know!

  • Have an idea for something I should talk about? Want me to expand on a previously touched on idea?

    Submit your ideas below.

  • I’m happy to test products related to painting, content creation, or art business.

If accepted, I promise an honest review.

Please submit a link to the product plus a short description for why you think it should be reviewed.

  • Periodically Brush Work holds Q&A episodes.

Submit a question here for me to answer on the show!

If you want to be anonymous just let me know and I won’t say your name.

Fill out the form below and I’ll get back to you!

Please note: not all requests will be accepted.
